[August 28, 2005 + 11:46am] [ music | The New Face of Zero and One; The New Pornographers ]   Well I'm back home from my trip to the Midwest! It was a lot of fun to visit my family that I haven't seen in years, especially my Aunt Julie. She went to art school but had to drop out so she was real proud that I'm doing what she wasn't able to do. We went to Lake Michigan and it was a nice day out because you could see Chicago from where we were standing (in Indiana!).   I moved back into my dorm room yesterday, but I'm not actually staying there until Tuesday I think. I still have a few more things to take care of back home before I go back to the city. Everyone came looking for me, but I had just left when they came to my room! I miss my friends so much.   I ordered a Gatsby's American Dream poster for me and Emily's room :D post comment

[August 08, 2005 + 04:57am] [ music | The Hollows; Matt Pond PA ]   It's finals week and I'm pulling my first all-nighter of the semester. I really underestimated the lengthiness of this project, I've been working on it for 20+ hours and I'm about 3/4 done. I've got a little system set up now so its going a bit faster but it's still going to be a while. I'm hoping I'll finish soon enough to go eat a proper breakfast at Lori's or Segafredo's. Pictures will follow soon (once it's finished, of course).   I think my first college semester can be summed up with three words: Olives, books, & Utrecht.   Luckily I've made a bunch of friends that help keep my sanity intact. I was so scared I'd be completely friendless my first year, but I've made more friends in 6 weeks than I did through most of highschool. For the most part, everyone's pretty friendly and social. Maybe its cos if you're at art school, you automatically win instant cool points.   Well, back to the sweat shop. post comment
